• Free pass to California’s state historic parks in honor of Juneteenth and America’s 250th anniversary  California State Parks is offering a special edition Historian Passport free to download through the Fourth of July weekend. The Historian Passport (typical cost $50) is valid for the rest of 2026 at more than 30 state historic parks throughout California, where visitors can immerse themselves in the state’s unvarnished, complex history.
