We invite employees at Stanford Research Park (SRP) to participate in a celebratory Juneteenth art activity inspired by traditional African wax-resist prints! Stanford artist and lecturer Lauren Toomer, MFA, will walk participants through each step of the creation. Participants can create a standard print on 6" x 8" or 9" x 12" paper or make it on a blank "thank you" card to give to someone they know. No experience is needed – let's come together to honor the history and importance of Juneteenth through beautiful art!
