The African American Quilt Guild of Oakland (AAQGO) will share their over 20 year history as well as their contributions to the East Bay Community and beyond. The presenter will review the historic and artistic qualities displayed in the African American quilting tradition. Several members of AAQGO will be on hand to share some of their quilts.
